Parent Programming

Parent involvement is essential to the success of children in school. At Joyce, we strive to provide equal programming to parents and children alike, so that families are able to receive the resources they need to thrive. Joyce Preschool works to involve parents in every way possible, so families can build success together in school and in the lives of their children – we have approximately 24 family participation events each year!

Parent Volunteering

Parent are encouraged to volunteer in the classroom; other opportunities to get involved include planning events, preparing projects, and participating in school events.

Parent volunteering can be as simple as reading a book to kids in the classroom, or as in-depth as helping us plan our largest annual fundraiser. For more on current volunteer opportunities, or to get in touch with one of our volunteer contacts, check out our volunteer page.

Conferences & Feedback

Parent-teacher conferences are held twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring. Joyce also asks parents to participate in two-parent surveys each year to obtain valuable feedback about the success and accessibility of the program.
